Gopal Krishnamurthy has been a teacher for 18 years at High School, Middle School and College levels. He has taught a variety of subjects in India, the UK and the USA including physics, mathematics, geography, environmental studies, philosophy, drama and Indian classical music. A student and teacher at the Krishnamurti schools since the age of 4, he is currently a PhD student in Education at the University of California Santa Barbara and has MAs in Education and Philosophy. His research interests include teacher development, classroom observation and J.Krishnamurti's educational philosophy.

Colin Foster has worked at Brockwood as Academic director and physics teacher for 22 years. After gaining his PhD in atomic physics in 1971 he did research for a number of years in Amsterdam, joining Brockwood in the early eighties. At this time Krishnamurti was staying at Brockwood for part of the year, also Professor David Bohm was visiting and became a strong influence. Colin would like to offer an informal session on the significance of quantum mechanics during the course.
